The electric beds in the hospital
make noise everytime you move.
the noise comes when the bed
adjusts its pressure to evenly
support my weight.
Which has dropped 13 pounds in
the last four weeks.
My sister died today—
ten years ago
before they had electric beds
and she was also much smaller than me.
